Teaching Music is Tough.

Planning, rehearsing, conducting, mastering each instrument… You’re expected to do it all.

Don’t waste your time trying to be superhero when it comes to accompanying.

Did you know accompanying requires a different skillset from piano?

I didn't.

I blundered, fumbled, and faked my way through years of rehearsals and gigs.

It was time consuming, stressful, and at times, embarrassing.

I would have given anything to have future me shouting advice to make this journey smoother.

FAQ

Juliana’s current rate is $25/half hour. Lessons are offered in 15-week packages. Students are asked to pay weekly, but we can work out a special plan if you need!

At our initial consultation, I will get to know your experience level and goals. We will then choose a lesson level from the following options:

  • Secrets to Successful Accompanying in the Classroom
  • Gigging Pianist’s Toolkit
  • Definitely! You are encouraged to bring any music you are struggling with. I want to help you succeed in real life!

Yes. The Fearless Accompanist is geared for undergraduate piano and music education majors. I myself hold a degree in Music Education with a concentration in Piano from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

My goal is to provide support and strategies that are relevant to YOU. If it turns out we’re not a good fit, I guarantee that I will connect you with someone who can help. Because the payment plan is pay-as-you-go, you can cancel your lesson package if it’s not meeting your needs.
